Mark Keating is the Managing Director of Shadowcat Systems Limited, a software development, training and consultancy based in the North West of England and specialising in Enlightened Perl implementations.
Mark is also a Director of the Enlightened Perl Organisation and the Company Secretary since its inception.
Mark is the co-leader of the North-West England Perl Mongers which he formed with Ian Norton in 2008.
Mark has organised the London Perl Workshop every year since 2008, aided in the organisation of other Perl events such as the QA Hackathon 2011 and is a passionate speaker on the marketing and promotion of Perl as a production ready, standards based modern language.
Mark is also on the creation and management teams of a number of Perl projects such as Ironman (and Ironboy) and Presenting Perl.
