DuckDuckGo, Perl and EPO

DuckDuckGo is a big supporter of Perl and Open Source in general. Who doesn't know, its made in Perl. yegg, the owner of the company normally approves all plans we have to use DuckDuckGo on Perl Marketing. Here I want to list some things that we already "have" and can use in required moments:

• DuckDuckGo allows us to set the logo of the homepage for Perl events, and so link to the specific search on DuckDuckGo (where we then of course get the first hit)

• DuckDuckGo allows us to use the twitter for promoting Perl events to make a wider interest on those. We have limited this to get "1 retweet per event", even tho, this is a soft limit, if there is REALLY something worthy.

• DuckDuckGo gives us the ability to place our own ads on the side of the search results on the keyword perl, where we can then think about a concept to decide which keywords see which ads. Here is the page for this project: DuckDuckGo Perl Ads
